League of Legends announced a new batch of skins, and the Warwick project seems to be part of it. Yesterday (13 July), the official League of Legends The Twitter account posted a video teasing the new series. Today, they have released a new, more detailed trailer. This new trailer clearly shows 4 champions: Jinx, Akali, Irelia and Pyke.

An investigative user on Twitter discovered that the tags in the video included "Project Warwick" and "Warwick". However, no confirmation from League of Legends as for Warwick. u / RiotEarthSlug however confirmed that the other 4 champions were correct. They also confirmed the existence of a fifth skin and said that some "adepts of Twitter" had already found the hidden champion.

Project: Warwick Observations

In the video below, two clues suggest that the hidden champion is Project: Warwick. At 0:14, a robot arm enters the frame and bears what looks like two scratches. The video also shows many possible scratch marks on the ground before the robot. However, these scratch marks could be provided by blade users joining the new Project series.

Immediately after the camera can see behind the robot, a red blur appears on the screen. At 0:16, the red blur turns into a burst of red sweeps. These two cases can be attributed to Warwick's abilities in the game. One of Warwick's abilities gives him a boost of speed to help him surprise enemy champions. Another of his abilities is to jump on a target and "delete" it while wildly swinging his claws into the target.

Riot will organize in the future a complete revelation to confirm, probably, these theories. The discovery of "Project: Warwick" and "Warwick" in the video tags of @ Colby5269 makes the validity of these suspicions likely. This is particularly true given the confirmation of u / RiotEartSlug that "industrious" fans have already found the hidden champion.
