The wedding of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas in Las Vegas was planned

Everyone who obsessively follows the relationship between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner knows that the already married couple is preparing for his second wedding in France this summer (see: Joe is organizing his bachelor party on a yacht in Ibiza), Major Information on their wedding in Las Vegas that took place last month.

As a reminder, less than two hours after the Billboard Music Awards, Joe, Sophie, some of their famous friends, including Priyanka Chopra and Diplo, went to the little white chapel for the wedding. And all that seemed rather impromptu – I mean, they used Ring Pops instead of real rings, an Elvis impersonator married them and the only family present (to our knowledge) was Nick and Kevin Jonas. This is also the reason why people have assumed that Maisie Williams, Sophie's best friend and her supposed maid of honor, was not there – if it was at the last in the minute, she probably would not have been able to do it.

HOWEVER, in a new interview with CarrySophie reports that she and Joe have actually planned their wedding in Las Vegas. She explains: "I think that because of the large number of cancellations and divorces, it is not possible to get the license at the chapel at the moment, so it takes a bit of planning." And really, when you think about it, Sophie I had to plan to get that white dress and someone one probably had to book the chapel, is not it?

That said, it is possible that they still planned everything at the last minute for Maisie / other people could not get there. One thing we do know, though, is that it seems like Sophie and Joe are planning a lot more about their next wedding in France: there would apparently be a "really wild cake" and the Jonas Brother will be performing, so GET.
