Born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, The Weekend slipped his feet into white socks and black sandals.
He had a silver chain around his neck and made sure to cover his mouth and nose with a black mask as the coronavirus pandemic forced southern California into another state of lockdown.

The talented crooner was surrounded by security as he made his way down the street.
The sighting comes a day after the three-time Grammy winner released a new remix of his hit song Blinding Lights, starring Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalia.

And the new remix comes after Spotify released its annual review of the year this week, featuring the most played musicians, songs and albums from over 320 million listeners in 2020.
Blinding Lights was announced as the top song on the charts, with nearly 1.6 billion streams on the platform.
The developments make it all the more puzzling why The Weeknd has been controversially snubbed by the Grammys this year, despite receiving a host of accolades for their standout fourth studio album, After Hours.
