The Weeknd remains in style in Tampa this week as he prepares for Sunday’s 2021 Super Bowl halftime show.
We hear the “Blinding Lights” crooner spending $ 100,000 to stay in a posh, six-bedroom $ 9.1 million mansion on neighboring Davis Island. This 6,000 square foot property features a swimming pool, bay views and private dock.
While the Super Bowl producers cover all of the show’s regular production costs, the 30-year-old singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – is pouring in a lot of money to make sure it’s done his way.
“Abel spent almost $ 7 million of his own money beyond the already generous budgets to make this halftime show what he envisioned,” his publicist told The Post.
On Monday, the singer partnered with Postmates to feed AdventHealth Carrollwood frontline health workers food from Tampa’s black-owned restaurant Mama’s Southern Soul Food.
