The Windows 10 calculator will soon be able to graphically represent mathematical equations

Microsoft adds a graphical mode to the Windows 10 calculator. The company launched the free-source calculator on GitHub earlier this month and has received over 30 suggestions from contributors so far, as indicated by ZDNet.

The graphic mode is the first open suggestion to choose. This is the idea of ​​Dave Grochocki, an engineer at Microsoft, who suggested to students to use the graphical function to study algebra. He pointed out that algebra is springboard to more advanced courses in mathematics and other sciences and engineering, but that it is also a course that American students often fail.

Many applications for basic calculators do not offer a graphical function, so the Windows 10 calculator can also take a step ahead of competing applications. For now, the feature is still in development, but GitHub notes indicate that users would be able to graph linear, quadratic, and exponential equations.
