SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The world's most expensive cup of coffee is now available in the United States, but at a single coffee retailer.

According to KGO, coffee imported from Panama costs $ 803 per pound. However, after roasting, it costs about $ 1,200 per pound.

The roasting company Klatch Coffee Roasters, located in several locations in California, shares 10 pounds of the exclusive Elida Geisha 803 coffee in its stores.

KGO reports that the 10 pounds of coffee will supply about 80 cups of coffee in the United States.

The Elida Geisha 803 would be so exclusive that the Klatch baristas took extra precautions to prepare the coffee.

"In fact, I trained with something completely different hoping it would be fine … and it's almost over, so it's going very well," a barista told KGO.

The coffee company sells each cup 75 dollars.

The first of several tastings began on Saturday.
