Seven takeaways from Sunday's match
1) Austin Romine has been almost silent since taking office full-time with Gary Sanchez on the list of the wounded. But he had the match-equalizer in the eighth inning and the single in the 10th to give the victory to the Yanks, a part of a three-shot day.
2) James Paxton was terrific during his last effort and almost dubbed him Sunday, which is a pity that he did not win the victory. Paxton finished with 12 strikeouts, his second consecutive game of 12 strikeouts. Paxton's goal-scorching effort reduced his season time to 3.10 as he occupied his position at the top of the Yankees' rotation.
3) Clint Frazier hit another home run, giving him a record six over the season (Sanchez). His three points produced put him at the top of the club with 17 points. The Yankees need an impact bat and Frazier supplies them daily.
4) In the column "which new player will receive a blow today," Mike Ford recorded his first shot in the majors with a double. Ford gets an opportunity for MLB some representatives with Greg Bird on the list of the wounded, and his stay could be longer if he can prove that he is ready.
5) Tommy Kahnle end a threat the seventh when Paxton got into trouble. He became a real asset to the back of the concealer because he jumped Chad Green and Jonathan Holder, who both fought.
6) Speaking of Green, it was an absolute disaster and caused the first half of the eighth round of the Yankees. After being charged with three points, Green 's ERA is now at 12.27 for the season.
