The YEEZY Gap hoodie sells for astronomical prices

YEEZY Difference On Wednesday, the “Perfect Hoodie” moniker was dropped in a plethora of colors, ranging from muted tones of black, brown and yellow-beige to more vibrant shades of purple, red and blue, priced at $ 90. On Thursday morning, most adult sizes were already unavailable, and now resellers have released the coveted garment to online marketplaces for a rising price range.

The sweatshirts are now listed on Depop for prices up to $ 899.99, and several listings have appeared on eBay for prices ranging from $ 140 to $ 550.

Gap’s YEEZY collaboration is largely winning over Kanye West’s overwhelmingly loyal fan base. In fact, the retailer expects to rake in US $ 1 billion from the partnership within eight years, according to a report by Bloomberg in March.

The Gap deal, associated with several sneaker and apparel lines, places YEEZY at a valuation of US $ 3.2 billion to US $ 4.7 billion by UBS Group AG, as noted in a private document reviewed by the store.

Each new hoodie is made from 100% double-layered cotton and is available in a unisex size for adults and children. Instead of drawstrings or additional details on the hood, the design features a noticeably oversized fit with a dropped shoulder and a large pocket on the front.

The drop was exclusive to the US, and orders won’t ship for two to eight weeks.
