A group of Super Bowl champions gathered at Churchill Downs this weekend.
Dressed in their festive outfits for the 145th edition of the Kentucky Derby, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Julian Edelman met former teammates Danny Amendola and Jimmy Garoppolo. The crew, at one point, was also joined by coach Bill Belichick and his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday.
In addition to Garoppolo, Brady has mingled with a number of his substitutes, including Jacoby Brissett, who is now playing for the Colts of Indianapolis; Matt Cassel, who is a free agent; Brian Hoyer, who is still with the Patriots, and Kliff Kingsbury, who is now coaching the Cardinals of Arizona. Brady shared a photo of the group of six on his Instagram story with the caption, "The QB Club".
The 41-year-old wearing a custom hat commemorating his six Super Bowl titles, said in an interview with Denver's Denver Broncos linebacker – the lifestyle correspondent of the NBC channel of the day – Von Miller – that his choice for the race was Code of Honor.
"Hey, whatever you choose will win," joked Miller.

Code of Honor finished second, behind the Country House winner, after the first horse to cross the finish line, Maximum Safety, was disqualified.
One face that was visibly missing Saturday was former Patriots member Rob Gronkowski. One year after encouraging a horse that bears his name, Gronkowski celebrated his retirement with his close friends and family in Las Vegas.
