These four cars were named the best in the world this year • Gear Patrol

The 2019 New York International Auto Show is on our doorstep, which means the annual World Car Awards. The WCA jury is comprised of more than 80 automotive industry journalists and industry professionals from over two dozen countries, who come together to choose the absolute best cars in six different categories.

This year, however, only four cars have won awards. That's because the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace not only won the green car and design of the year trophies, it also won the grand prize: the world car of the year. The other winners are the Audi A7, Suzuki Jimny 4 × 4 and McLaren 720S.

World Car of the Year / Green Car of the Year / Design of the Year

Jaguar I-Pace 2019 "The I-Pace has many forms of Jaguar DNA. Jaguar designer Ian Callum's pen is solid here, and there's a clear line of demarcation between this car and his other works, like the Jaguar F-Pace, though I've got the impression that it's not the same. there is even an allusion to the Jaguar C-X75 in its general form. Global luxury car

Audi A7 2019 "An even more elegant upgrade, however, lies in the corners, with the headlights and taillights, which in the upper moldings – namely the Prestige – offer small, bright displays every time you lock and unlock the vehicle.
