At PCWorld, we are big fans of Western Digital discs. WD My Passport is our preferred external backup drive. Like this drive, the My Book also uses USB 3.0 and comes with AES 256-bit hardware encryption for storing sensitive files. They are also loaded with Western Digital's excellent software suite.
