A Milford Man would absolutely hate what goes on in the Things Heard and Seen trailer, where a young couple (played by Amanda Seyfried and the hunk from Grantchester that your mother wants to marry) is moving from their charmed life in Manhattan to their own hell farmhouse in Amityville. Things are pretty good for these two at first: they have plenty of space and can do things like ‘go swimming’ and ‘visit the local library’. But then crows start flying in their room at night. And a Jowday-esque force is wreaking havoc on their radios, the simplest of waves! “My wife does not know what happened here,” warns the husband of a city dweller. “I think it would be better if we kept it that way.” Oh, fantastic. Netflix will release the film on April 29.
