Third-generation AirPods and the leaky image

[ad_1]

After months of rumors, a leaked image of what are said to be the third-generation Apple AirPods and its accompanying case has surfaced. Previous reports noted that the next version would serve as a support, in terms of price and performance, between the AirPods and AirPods Pro models currently on the market.

Courtesy of 52Audio, the potential leak features an AirPods Pro in-ear design that conspicuously lacks the removable elements of the ear tips. Additionally, the stem controls and pressure equalizers also appear to be missing in the model shown. The accompanying case also appears to be a scaled-down design of the case included with the AirPods Pro.

52Audio also notes that it’s “highly likely” that Apple’s third-generation AirPods could feature both active noise cancellation and spatial sound, using similar AirPods Pro hardware.

New rumors expect the third generation Apple AirPods to arrive as early as early March.
