As a gamer, I was deeply upset that I couldn’t try to book a night at this 7-Eleven store due to my life in Maryland. I mean, I have a PS5, sure, but do you know how many brain freezes I could have gotten with access to an all-you-can-eat Slurpee machine? This isn’t the first time that limited-time stays have been available through Airbnb. In September, the company allowed LA County residents to stay overnight at the same mansion featured in The prince of Bel-Air. In August, residents of Deschutes County, Oregon could spend a ’90s-themed slumber party at the latest Blockbuster video store, and in 2019 you could stay at the Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse for just $ 60 a. night.
