At the same time, GPU options start with a Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti, which users can adapt to a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or a RTX 2060 Super. This base model HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop also has 16 GB of RAM, as well as a 256 GB SSD and a 2 TB hard drive.
I asked HP if the price of this standard configuration was the same as the $ 699 starting price of the Pavilion Gaming Desktop and will update it as soon as I get the answer. I can confirm, however, that this gaming PC will be released later this month.

HP has also completely redesigned its 15-inch Pavilion Gaming laptop to create a thinner, lighter laptop for better cooling.
While the previous Pavilion Gaming laptops were just a classic Pavilion laptop with black and green paint, the latter model has a sharply angled design that is more in line with HP's premium Omen brand. These drawn lines are not only aesthetic, because the new Pavilion Gaming Laptop is a bit thinner by 20mm and shorter by a millimeter.
More importantly, the size of the hulls of this gaming laptop has been drastically reduced, from 16.26mm to 6.4mm – although it still has the usual big chest of most HP devices. On the back and bottom of the machine, HP has also increased the exhaust and intake areas, while adding a 28% larger heat pipe to help increase cooling.
All the extra ventilation is needed because the HP Pavilion Gaming laptop is a much more impressive machine that can be equipped with Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 maximum Ti Max-Q graphics card. All of this feeds the new 1080p 144Hz laptops, which is another improvement over the previous 60Hz Full HD display.
The HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop base model, which arrives in September, starts at $ 799 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3550 processor, a Nvdiia GTX 1050 (3GB GDDR5), 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
