The last season of HBO Game of thrones is in full swing, and a Belgian designer took the opportunity to reinvent the sequence of titles of the show in the manner of another great show of the network, Westworld
"Westerosworld" does two cool things: it takes on the appearance and style of WestworldThe opening credits – white patterns and minimalist figures built with advanced 3D printers – and modifications to elements such as dragons, flags of the house, the king of the night and the iron throne, with a touch of color accentuating them. The video also takes Game of thrones'Theme emblematic, and reinvented in the same style, thanks to the composer Brandon Chapman, who released the piece a year ago on Soundcloud and who seems to have inspired the video project.
The description of the video indicates that it took about eight months of casual work to Belgian designer Gilles Augustijnen, using After Effects, C4D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Fusion360 and DAZ3D to bring the sequence to life. with the help of Pieterjan Djufri Futra and Loris Ayné (who provided comments, support and help for modeling hard surfaces.)
The result is a sublime mashup of both worlds – it's a clean video, and who knows? In the end, we may discover that Westros was a deeply immersive world, driven by the enthusiasm of wealthy tourists.
