This Democrat is in agreement with Trump on the "swamp"

One of the Democratic candidates is in agreement with President Trump on one point: Washington is a swamp.

According to New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, the problem with President Trump is that "unfortunately, he lied" about what he would do. Trump "said that he would dump the swamp, he filled the swamp," she added, adding that he "aligned his cabinet with the elite elite" .

Gillibrand, who met Rick Newman in his New Hampshire campaign headquarters for Yahoo Finance's Meet the Candidate series, struggled to stand out in an overcrowded Democratic environment. She is embarking on a new campaign aimed directly at Trump.

Next week, the senator will travel to Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania for a "Broken Promises Tour" in Battlefield States. She also released a new announcement that her campaign is calling the first anti-Trump TV commercial of the 2020 cycle, highlighting portfolio issues such as jobs, the cost of drugs and infrastructure.
