In the documentary When Harry meets Meghan: a royal romanceKatie Nicholl, a royal commentator and biographer, said Prince Harry had a crush on Markle for two years before they met. Nicholl said that Prince Harry had told his friends that Markle was his "ideal wife". He knew Markle well after his role in the USA Network series. Suit, in which she played the role of Rachel Zane. Here's what Nicholl had to say about Prince Harry's penchant for Markle:
He had a crush on Rachel Zane two years before meeting Meghan Markle. I know it is because I was having a drink with one of her friends and that she told me that she had spent an evening with Prince Harry. He was single at the time. So, she said to him, "So, Harry, who's your ideal girl?" And he said, "Meghan Markle, of Suit. '
How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met
The Duke and Duchess were introduced by Markus Anderson, one of their mutual friends, and a consultant for Soho House in New York. Anderson arranged their meeting at Soho House. According to Nicholl, it was the perfect opportunity for them to talk to each other and get to know each other. Nicholl says Markle did not seem embarrassed by the fact that she was in the presence of a prince, but she thought he was "terribly cute".
How did Prince Harry know that Meghan Markle was the one
When announcing their engagement, Prince Harry said that he
