We have already heard a lot of rumors and speculation about the Huawei Mate 30 Series phones, but here's something official: the launch will take place on Thursday 19 September, with the unveiling at an event in Munich.

The tweet about the launch date and the preview site that accompanies them encourages us to "rethink the possibilities" – so do what you want. There is also an intensive use of what looks like a camera lens graph, suggesting that the Mate 30 phones will feature serious photo taking capabilities.
We will of course keep you informed of the news of the Mate 30 Series event, and we are probably waiting for many more leaks and rumors by then.

The news that Mate 30 phones will probably not be able to use Google applications and services, due to ongoing trade disputes between the United States and China, is likely to blow the whistle.
It is possible that Google is asking for an exemption for the Huawei Mate 30 handsets, but if it does not, Huawei will have to rely on its own HarmonyOS. We will not know exactly how it will be played before seeing the phones themselves.
We are expecting at least a companion 30 and a companion 30 pro. Previously disclosed images indicate a circular camera case for the rear-facing camera, which could contain up to four individual lenses.
According to the rumor, wireless charging will be faster, but most of the software and applications used by Huawei Mate 30 phones will be used.
