KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 – Do you like Xiaomi's economical smartphones but are not you a fan of MIUI? The Chinese smartphone maker is about to introduce the Mi A3, powered by Android One. This will succeed his current Mi A2 launched a year ago.

As previously revealed by Ishan Agarwal, an Android One device based on the Xiaomi CC9 launched in China. Now we have a clearer look at the new Mi A3 thanks to Roland Quandt from WinFuture.de.

According to the renderings, the screen presents a standard Android interface and its overall appearance is identical to that of the CC9, but the Android One Logo is stamped on the back. The Mi A3 also retains color options similar to those currently available on the Chinese-only device.

Even at the back, there is also a three-camera configuration that is probably a 48MP / 1.79 main shooting game, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP camera for depth effects. According to Ishan, the A3 Mi comes with a higher Snapdragon 730 processor, but surprisingly, Roland states that it will work instead on a Snapdragon 665 lower.

It also seems that Xiaomi has recognized its weaknesses on the Mi A2, the new model retaining a microSD card expansion slot and even having a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an infrared blaster. In terms of battery, it should have a unit with a capacity of 4000 mAh that can support fast charging via USB-C.

The launch of the Mi A3 is expected soon as Xiaomi has released its first teaser via Twitter. If the price of Mi A3 is identical to that of Mi 9T, which one will you get? – SoyaCincau
