This is the only place in the White House where early dogs are not allowed

In an exclusive interview with People, the president said that Champ and Major, both German Shepherds, behaved very well, so they have only one rule: they are not allowed on furniture, including beds and sofas. But the dogs have the run of the rest of the house, with the spacious front yard.

Major was rescued from the Delaware Humane Association (DHA) in November 2018.
