Your favorite fake-psychics-but-true-detectives are heading to Peacock for the next episode of the Psychic trilogy. Psy 3: It’s Gus will air on Peacock on November 18. According to Variety, “The new film will see false-psychic detective Shawn Spencer (James Roday Rodriguez) and his friend and partner Burton ‘Gus’ Guster (Dulé Hill) investigate the double life and estranged husband of Gus Selene’s fiancee (Jazmyn Simon They work on the case while preparing for the wedding of Gus and his new baby, as Chef Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) grapples with the future of his career. The cast will also feature the favorites fans like Corbin Bernsen as Henry Spencer and Maggie Lawson as Juliet O’Hara.
The film is directed and co-written by series creator Steve Franks. Rodriguez is also a co-writer and executive producer. The trailer first premiered at this year’s New York Comic Con and featured all the nonsense and high jinks that Psychic is famous for.
