After weeks of rumors, Samsung has finally announced its next Galaxy Unpacked Event planned for january 14, and it couldn’t have come at a better time, as recently a number of new leaks have turned what we expect to see at Samsung’s next big product showcase.

Maybe the biggest new leak comes from YouTuber digital slang who recently posted a very detailed first impression video showcasing Samsung’s upcoming high-end wireless headphones: Galaxy Buds Pro. While the video arrived a few weeks before the expected official debut of the Galaxy Buds Pro, Digital Slang was able to install a preview version of the Galaxy Wear app in order to pair the Galaxy Buds Pro with a Galaxy Fold 2 and check almost all of its features. .

Similar to the old one Galaxy Buds +, the Galaxy Buds Pro have a closed design that passively blocks out ambient noise, but with a significantly smaller body which Digital Slang says is quite light and comfortable. On top of that, Samsung also gave the Galaxy Buds Pro active noise cancellation. technology with a new ambient sound mode that can automatically activate if it hears voices nearby, a feature that could be really useful if you need to quickly go to a store and ask a question without having to delete or change the settings of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

As with the previous Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Buds Pro also come with touch controls built into each earbud and a wireless charging box. Unfortunately, while Digital Slang says the Galaxy Buds Pro sound really good, it says their ANC performance is somewhat lackluster, although it’s possible this is due to it using a pre-production version of the Galaxy Wear app or because Samsung has not yet released the final firmware for the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Ultimately, the attractiveness of the Galaxy Buds Pro will depend on on this ANC performance, especially with a new leak of Sammobile claiming that the Galaxy Buds Pro are only expected to cost $ 200, which is $ 50 less than the AirPods Pro.

In addition to Samsung’s upcoming wireless headphones, Winfuture claims to have discovered new photos and official information about the Galaxy S21 Ultra S-Pen and a new flip case for the S21 Ultra with built-in stylus storage. While not as small or flashy as the S-Pens typically shipped with Galaxy Note phones, the S21 Ultra’s stylus would still have the same pressure-sensitive.
