This video of Beyoncé and Meghan Markle coming together for the first time is so sweet

Seriously – the remake of Disney live-action The Lion King to get more icons? Not only did he cast a cast of stars and new versions of the beloved songs from the 1994 animated film, but he also produced the first encounter between Beyoncé and Meghan Markle. (!!!)

That's true. On July 14, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex witnessed the establishment in the United Kingdom of The Lion King, where they engaged with fans and actors of the film before going inside for a taste of the film. When Markle and Queen Bey (alias Nala) met, they could not help but shine at each other. Wait until you see the video of the sweet moment.

Beyoncé and the duchess were happy to see each other.

A video uploaded on Twitter by Rebecca English from the Daily Mail shows Markle walking on the gold carpet in a black dress with transparent sleeves. As she approached Beyoncé, the lemonade singer, who wore a gold dress, burst into a smile.

They shared a long hug and apparently immediately succeeded. Beyoncé reportedly told Markle that her newborn son, Archie Harrison, is "so handsome" and that she likes[s] his family." Then Markle reportedly asked Bey to give him deets on his two-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi Carter. Aww!

After talking for more than a few seconds, we can hear the singer thank the Duchess, presumably for coming to support the film.

Beyoncé and Markle are fans of each other

In February, Beyoncé made a full demonstration of her passion for fans when she used a portrait of the Duchess in the background of her acceptance video of the BRIT Awards.

Artist Tim O'Brien told OprahMag.com that this tribute was an "ode" to Beyoncé and the "Apesh * t" video of JAY-Z, which shows the couple posing in front of the Mona Lisa. "I think choosing to represent a person of color in the royal family – at the Brit Awards – instead of Mona Lisa was brilliant … it was the ideal solution," he explained.

According to her, this tribute shocked the duchess. When her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, sent her the picture, Markle sent a text message with a "big emoji eye".

It's a busy time for Markle

Markle attended many sporting events, such as Wimbledon, where she supported her best friend, Serena Williams.

On July 6th, she and Prince Harry met with their close relatives and friends for the baptism of Baby Archie. About 25 people were able to see the Archbishop of Canterbury sprinkling Archie's forehead with Jordan water.

The Sussex chose to hold the ceremony in the private chapel of Queen Elizabeth. The fans did not attend important moments. But they published pictures of the event to the public.

"It's a great step and they are excited to share it with the family, and then with the world," a source told People.

This morning, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was baptized in the private chapel of Windsor Castle during an intimate service chaired by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness to welcome their firstborn and celebrate this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel lucky to have enjoyed this day with family and with Archie's godparents. Their son, Archie, was baptized by wearing the replica by hand of the royal baptismal gown worn by royal babies for 11 years. The original royal baptismal gown, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and was worn for the first time by her eldest daughter. It was then worn by generations of royal baptisms, including the Queen, her children and grandchildren, until 2004, when the Queen commissioned this replica by hand, to preserve the historic garment fragile and perpetuate the tradition. With so much on her plate, it's a marvel that the duchess managed to The Lion King first. But we are happy that she did it. Maybe we'll see more photos of Markle and Beyoncé soon.
