Since the launch of the Blood Money update, Rockstar’s updates for Red Dead Online have been more action-packed than usual, and that trend continues this week. Starting today, players will have the opportunity to tackle the game’s third heist for one final gem, a yellow diamond known as Il Sovrano. Naturally, this week’s update also includes the usual buffet of discounts that players can take advantage of.
Go off like a bandit
Seasoned criminals with Capital to spare can begin the Il Sovrano Opportunity Mission today. The heist will take players to Rhodes Town, where the Diamond is stopping over. They will however have to find it, and quickly too, because a representative of Senator Ricard is on his way to retrieve the gem and move on. Anyone who completes the Heist this week will earn a reward for a free weapon component, while players who beat him on the Merciless difficulty will also unlock the Duplessis Top Hat to purchase from Madame Nazar.
Hang the saloons of Saint Denis
In addition to a new Opportunity Mission, every Blood Money NPC across the west will begin offering a new contract today. The contract, a free multi-part roaming mission, tasks players with fundraising in saloons in bustling Saint Denis. Of course, some homeowners may not be so willing to part with their money, so you’ll need to persuade them to donate to your cause.
Discounts for club members
If you are a member of the Quick Draw Club No. 1, there is good news. This week, all club owners will receive a Rushword shirt, free shirt and coat rewards, and 50% off established or distinguished role items. Quick Draw Club No. 1 will end on August 9, while The Quick Draw Club No. 2 will begin on August 10.
