But where did they all go?

The New York Times recounted the work of the painter who became a television star at a company in Herndon, Virginia. The approximately 30,000 paintings that Ross has prepared for his exhibition can be found at Bob Ross Inc., a company run by Joan Kowalski, whose mother Annette "discovered" Ross, who died in 1995, during a painting class. .

"The first day I took the class with Bob, I was so fascinated by Bob that I could not paint," Annette said.

The newspaper produced a 10-minute video on the history of the iconic painter, his famous works, his television show and the reasons why you're not allowed to buy his work.

Although Ross's paintings are not for sale, you will soon see his work in an exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum of American History.
