Confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.

After some sneaky teasing earlier this year and a more recent Sony leak, THQ Nordic has officially confirmed that Destroy All Humans 2 is getting the remake treatment.

Destroy all humans! 2 – Reprobed, as THQ calls its latest remake, will be “developed from scratch” in Unreal Engine 4 by Black Forest Games, the studio behind the striking 2020 remake of the original Destroy All Humans.

The sequel, if you’re not familiar, originally released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2006, serves as a second serving of comedic action AND chronicles Crypto’s continuing adventures as he rampages through the 1960s after the destruction of his mothership by the KGB – a chaotic journey that sees him soak up (and detonate) sites in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, Japan and even on the moon. Expect all of this in the remake, but prettier.

Other details on the remake are currently limited, but THQ says split-screen two-player co-op is in place as Crypto makes its way through more open environments and promises the ability to change paint jobs. on your flying saucer, as well as the return of all Crypto skins from the first game.

Destroy all humans! 2 – Reprobed will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S / X at a future, currently unspecified time.
