Three people were killed Monday morning by a Rockdale County owner, officials said.
Investigators have not determined whether the deadly shooting at a residence in White Oak Court near Conyers was the result of a home invasion, Rockdale sheriff MP Lee Thomas told AJC.com.
"It seems to be happening in a residence and the resident was the person who fired," Thomas said at the scene.
The four people involved are men, he said. Their ages are unknown. It is believed that the owner called 911.
"I'm still trying to gather information right now because it's an active scene," he said.
Thomas said that there was no threat to the community. Authorities represented all parties involved in the deadly shooting. A large number of sheriff's deputies are trying to gather evidence and the coroner has been summoned home.
