Three gunshot deaths on Long Island in possible home invasion: police sources

Three people were shot dead in an apparent home invasion on Long Island on Friday, police sources said.

The bloodshed occurred at noon at a house on Overlook Drive in Farmingville in Suffolk County, sources said, adding that the violence could be drug-related.

Suffolk County Police did not immediately provide any information about the shooting. A spokesperson said the information would be released later on Friday.

A police source told the Post that the fatal shooting marked the seventh murder in Suffolk County this week.
