Three Jets issues to watch out for in the preseason game against the Packers

Here are three Jets issues unrelated to Zach Wilson to watch out for in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Packers.

How will they replace the player they were counting on as their Edge rusher?

Bryce Huff will be the first player to successfully fill the gap. Huff had two sacks last week against the Giants, and the Jets will be counting on him for more production in this game.

2. The offensive line

The offensive line hasn’t had a good week in pass protection.

They’ve been mistreated in joint practice with the Packers and offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur has said the whole offense needs to get him back in the passing game. Green Bay should be playing saves, so if the Jets are having trouble in this game, sound the alarm bells.

Tight ends under the microscope

The tight ends of the Jets had a very quiet training camp. It would be nice to see Tyler Kroft or Chris Herndon play a big game and take the tight first place.
