A large crowd with few empty seats is observed in the fourth quarter of a NBA basketball preseason game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Toronto Raptors in 2017 at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Just minutes after its sale to the general public, the NBA's October 3 preparatory game at the Stan Sheriff Center between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston Rockets was sold today.

Some potential customers stated that the ETicketHawaii.com sales website indicated zero seat availability within 10 minutes of the opening of ticket sales to the general public at noon.

The Clippers and UH season ticket holders had pre-sales access to purchase a set number of tickets – as well as some former participants of the Clippers' preseason games at Sheriff – who had apparently eliminated many places before the big public can not access it.

The high demand was not surprising. The Clippers acquired superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George during the off-season, while the Rockets teamed James Harden with a new superstar at Russell Westbrook.

The Clippers, who are organizing a third consecutive preparatory training camp in Hawaii, will play a second exhibition on October 6 against the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

In the middle of the afternoon today, most of the sheriff's lower bowl was exhausted by October 6, but most of the upper level remained available.
