Haddish is the first star to publicly invoke the law to cancel a live show in that state.

The new law would ban abortions once the fetal heart rate is detected, which can take just six weeks before many women know that they are pregnant. Unless the law is stalled in the courts, it will come into effect in 2020. The ACLU has announced that it will challenge the law.
