Tiger Woods burns the guy who won big on the masters bet

Tiger Woods' victory at the 2019 Masters was inspiring. His follow-up at the PGA Championship, less.

And give him credit: he knew better. The same can not be said of James Adducci, the bettor who won a minimum of infamy – and $ 1.275 million – placing $ 85,000 on Woods to win at Augusta. Adducci then tried to go even further with a $ 100,000 bet that Woods would win the next three major tournaments, hoping for a $ 10 million payout.

As we all know now, this bet caught fire before the weekend at Bethpage Black.

When a fan asked Woods to hit bullets at the Tiger Jam in Las Vegas, about Adducci's initial wager, he did not hold back.

"F-King is a very good bet," he said. "Dumbass for the Grand Slam, though."
