Does history repeat itself?

Tiger Woods finished the first round of the Masters tournament Thursday with a score of 70 – finishing tied for 11th at two shots of the day.

Woods is not only at the fingertips of leaders after the first round, but knows his own story when it comes to shooting a 70 at the Augusta National Golf Club on opening day.

"I shot 70 times the last four times I won the green jacket and it's a good start," Woods said with a huge smile at the clubhouse.

Woods shot exactly 70 in 1997, 2001 and 2002 before winning the Masters all those years. In his last Masters victory, he shot 74 in the first round, but managed to shoot under 70 in consecutive rounds to win his fourth green jacket.
