PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Fifteen pars usually go a long way at an American Open. Just not this one. Or at least not yet.
That's why Tiger Woods was boiling as he came out of the ninth green. He had just scored twice on a score of 72 in the second round of the American Open after closing with two bogeys.
"Yeah, a little hot right now," Woods said. "Not a good finish."
