Social media sensation Dazharia, known online as Bxbygirlldee, died on Monday February 8 at the age of 18.
The teenager’s parents confirmed the news of their daughter’s death on Tuesday, February 9, in a statement posted on their GoFundMe page.
“On February 8th, my daughter Dazharia left us early and was called to fly with the angels,” Joseph Santiago, Dazharia’s father, shared. “She was my best friend and I was in no way prepared to bury my child. She was so happy and would be so excited to see me when I get home after being on the road. [sic]”
“I only wish she had told me about her stress and her suicidal thoughts. We could work on it,” he added. “I just want to hold you again my little candy.” Now I’m coming home and you won’t be around waiting for me. I must let you fly with the angels. Daddy loves you. [sic]”

Right now, E! The news did not confirm the Louisiana native’s cause of death. We have contacted the Baton Rouge Police Department and the Medical Coroner’s Office for more information, and have yet to receive a response.
Jennifer shaffer, the mother of the internet personality, also expressed her heartbreak in a Facebook post on Feb.9.
“I’m so heartbroken,” she began her post, “I really can’t believe you’re going. ..rip my angel. Everyone talks about our bad times but never talks about the good times #babygirldee. [sic]”
Joseph later thanked his daughter’s fans for their kind messages in a post on TikTok, writing: “I just want to thank everyone for their love and support for my daughter. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us. and went to a better place. “
He also shared a video collage showing images of child and adolescent Dazharia.
The social media star had over one million TikTok followers and over one hundred thousand Instagram followers. His YouTube channel had nearly one hundred thousand subscribers.
At this time, it appears that Dazharia’s family are organizing a memorial service.
