A man has revealed a little-known hack for ‘hiding’ apps on an iPhone, changing their names and symbols to easily disguise them – but many people say that makes it ‘easy to cheat’.

But many have said that his latest hack will make it easy for dating people to hide apps they shouldn’t be using like Tinder and Bumble – making the dating app appear as something more mundane.

In the clip, which has more than two million views, the influencer shows how to change app icons from within the “ shortcuts ” app. Once opened, iPhone users can click the plus button and add an action. Then, users can search for the option to “ Open App ” and then click a button with multicolored squares.
Showing viewers how to complete the hack, Kaan revealed how to change the face of his Tinder app.
In the clip, which has more than two million views, the influencer opens the Apple Shortcuts app, which is automatically downloaded on new iPhones and free from the App Store for all users.
Once opened, iPhone users can click the plus button and add an action, it shows.
Then users can search for the option “Open app” and then click a button with multicolored squares.
He then adds the app to his home screen and changes the name to “ weather ” and the image to the logo usually used for Apple’s weather app.
It then returns to its home screen and opens what looks like the weather app.
But it’s not the weather app and it’s more Tinder.
The clip racked up thousands of comments, with many claiming it made them suspicious of their partners.
“Why do you teach people to be shady,” one wrote.
“Ok now I’m about to click through all of my man’s apps,” another joked.
“This is actually how to make an aesthetic home screen on iOS,” commented a third.
