Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s private island estate in the Bahamas has been brought to market, and it could be yours – that is, if you have $ 35 million to spend.

The couple bought an island in the Bahamas called Angels Island in 2003, according to Architectural summary, but they only moved in in 2012. They told the magazine that the construction project turned out to be a much bigger project than they originally planned. They ended up having to build housing for the construction staff, then they had to create infrastructure for the construction crews, including electricity and water.

“We decided to build a house,” Hill said. “We had no idea we had to build everything else. We basically had to build a small town.

The couple and their three daughters used to vacation on the island and stay in yurts while their spectacular primary residence was under construction, and Knight Frank’s list includes the two beachfront yurts, three staff houses, engineering facilities and mechanical storage, as well as a private dock.

The main house is situated on an elevated point near the center of the island to offer the most panoramic views of its pristine beauty. The impressive mansion consists of 6,517 square feet, with almost 5,000 additional square feet of covered verandas and open hallways that connect the eight individual “pods” of the main house.

These pods center around an interior courtyard, and the property also has a thriving large room, while the living room opens directly onto a pool terrace. The master bedroom is a suite with its own closet massive and its en-suite bathroom, and there are three further bedrooms, one of which is designed as a children’s dorm with bunk beds and two bathrooms. There are a total of five bathrooms in the residence, which is built to make the most of the indoor-outdoor lifestyle that the area offers.

Angels Island, also known as Goat Cay, spans 19.77 acres and offers nearly 2 km of waterfront property.

It is not clear from the listing whether McGraw and Hill still own the property currently, or whether the island is listed in another party’s name.

The country superstar couple are no strangers to the luxury lifestyle. They also owned an 11,000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 9 bathroom mansion in Beverly Hills, which they sold for $ 9.5 million in 2009., as well as a lavish Nashville mansion they sold in 2009. They continue to own a historic rural estate on large land in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, in addition to their primary residence, which, according to public records, is a 5-bedroom, 10-bath, home. 22,460 square feet.
