The Tennessee Titans are looking for depth and on Wednesday they found a trading partner in the Green Bay Packers.
According to Adam Schefter, the The Titans send a seventh round pick to the Packers in exchange for the linebacker Reggie Gilbert.
Gilbert spent the last three years with the Packers after being drafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent his rookie season on the training squad and then played two games in the 2017. In 2018, Gilbert played in all 16 games and recorded 38 combined tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Cameron Wake and Harold Landry III are the Titans' two titans. They are looking for talent to play and play well on a reserve. With Wake now 37, Gilbert will have a chance to face Kamalei Correa and Sharif Finch for significant reps in 2019.
Tennessee had high hopes for Andre Walker's fifth round pick, but he was placed on the injured reserve earlier this month.
