Titans walks over to another Robin trick.
Jay Lycurgo, who guest on HBO I can destroy you and has a role in the upcoming DC movie The batman, is expected to recur in Season 3 of the live-action superhero series as Tim Drake, a streetwise kid who managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible belief in heroism .
Tim’s laid back demeanor is supported by an almost brilliant mind – a natural sleuth with an eye for detail far beyond his years.
In DC lore, Tim is destined to become the third Robin, succeeding Jason Todd (and Dick Grayson before him) to wear the superhero mantle. TitansDick (played by Brenton Thwaites), after a small identity crisis, switched to the character of Nightwing, while Jason Todd (Curran Walters) is set to become Red Hood in Season 3.
Titans Seasons 1 and 2 – which debuted on the since reconfigured DC Universe streaming service – are now available to air on HBO Max, with a season 3 premiere date yet to be confirmed.
