Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has been available for over a month and has already received a big update of content. Massive Entertainment originally planned that the next game update and its first raid would arrive on April 25, but the developer has now postponed that date.
According to an article published on the website of Ubisoft, Massive has chosen to postpone the publication of what is called Title Update 3, until May. Massive says he made the decision to make sure the Dark Operation update and raid will be released in the best possible condition for fans. "In order to refine the balance of our game and ensure the best gaming experience possible for all, we decided to move the release of Title Update 3," Massive said.
In what appears to be a related decision, Massive also announced that as of April 17, all players with access to Division 2 on PC will also have access to the public test server of the game (PTS). The test server will serve as Massive's playground to test future game updates in the hopes of getting player feedback on new content, as well as additional help for stability testing.
Title Update 3 and the raid will not come on the test server in the hope of allowing the community to experience the raid at the same time. It is unclear if this will be the plan for the next raids, but Massive says that he will update the players with more information on the PTS in the near future.
Massive will release Divisions 2 Title of update 3 in May. It is not clear if the Dark Operation raid will arrive at the same time or soon after the update.
