One of the players vying for a role in the Tampa backfield needed help getting off the field in Thursday’s practice.

Running back TJ Logan was sent off after being tackled from behind by linebacker Quinton Bell. The injury came after offense and defense pushed and pushed during an 11-on-11 drill and head coach Bruce Arians said after the session players need to know the limits while working with their teammates.

“When we are in the no-tackle period, I don’t want to tackle,” Arians said, via Eduardo Encina of the Tampa Bay Times. “When we tackle, we tackle. But the last thing you do is take a jersey. I can see you on film if you’re gonna make a tackle or not. We will see how it goes, how it goes. But there is a certain etiquette of practice that you must follow. Young people have a hard time with that.

Logan played for the Arians in Arizona and was claimed by the Bucs last season. He saw most of his work as a kickoff and a punt return and should be back in the mix for those roles this year if the injury isn’t serious.
