TJ Watt’s fiancee Dani Rhodes sent a sweet message to her future husband after the Steelers star on Thursday became the league’s highest-paid defensive player.
Following the announcement of his four-year, $ 112 million extension with Pittsburgh – following a two-way contract battle – Rhodes took to his Instagram Story to repost the official announcement shared by the NFL.

The couple have a lot to celebrate these days as they look forward to their wedding day. Watt knelt down in early July and asked the question with a stunning circular diamond ring. The proposal took place in a picturesque outdoor setting that overlooked the ocean.
At the time, Watt and Rhodes shared engagement photos on Instagram. The triple pro Bowler wrote: “I am the luckiest man in the world !! The soccer star exclaimed, “I’m going to marry my best friend. I can’t wait to love you FOREVER!”
Days later, Rhodes announced on Instagram that she had signed with Thróttur Reykjavík football club to continue her professional football career in Iceland.
Following the news of Watt’s mega deal, his brother and Cardinals star JJ Watt had fun with their almost identical names.
