Tlaib reiterates his call for the dismissal of Trump and blames the Dems reluctant for acting on the basis of a "political strategy"

Representative Rashida Tlaib said Thursday that people want to see deposed President Trump and urged his colleagues to take such action.

The Michigan Democrat appeared on CNN to discuss the latest speech on the impeachment after MoveOn.org, a group of liberal activists, delivered a USB key containing 10 million signatures calling for the removal of Trump.

"What's important to me is recognizing that 10 million people have said that we have to empower the president," said Tlaib about the signatures. "That says a lot."

Tlaib noted that the number of signatures gives Congress mandate to prosecute the president and investigate him.

"Only think about it: ten million people want us to respect the United States Constitution. Ten million people want us to investigate this president and whether or not he violated the US Constitution and whether or not he is acting above the law. And I think it's great, you know, a moving movement. "
