TMZ: Luke Perry victim of a massive stroke just after the announcement of the 90210 series

Actor Luke Perry is in the hospital after suffering a severe stroke, reports TMZ.

According to TMZ, paramedics would have been called Wednesday at the home of actor "Beverly Hills 90210" for information reporting a victim of a stroke. Perry, 52, was then taken to the hospital.

His condition is unknown.

The race was held on the same day, it was announced that several members of the cast "90210" will appear in a series of events in six episodes this summer. The show will feature cast members Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling.

The original series "Beverly Hills, 90210" was broadcast from 1990 to 2000; he then received a reboot on another network several years later.

More recently, Perry played Fred Andrews, Archie's father, in "Riverdale".
