At the time of writing this article, the trailer for Doom: Annihilation has been viewed more than 350,000 times. Until now, more than 8,800 viewers have hated the 30-second clip and just under 700, apparently, like the look of Hell.
Shortly after the trailer, a fan contacted id Software and the manager CONDEMN Twitter account to see what the original creators think of the adaptation "direct to the video". Below, the rather blunt answer of the DOOM Twitter account:
We are not involved in the film. https://t.co/Du3wHSHk44– DOOM (@DOOM) March 11, 2019
Like some of our charming readers have already pointed out in our previous article, this upcoming Universal movie looks more like a 90s television series. So, can you really blame id Software for wanting to get away from this project ? Especially when he works hard DOOM Eternal – the hellish experience that fans deserve.
Damn, maybe we read too much about it, but it looks like it's id Software does not want a problem, so that he has put so much love in this video game series iconic in the last 25 years. The developer even went so far as to retweet the tweet above on his official account. Twitter account to make sure the message is loud and clear.
What do you think? Are you relieved? ID Software is not involved in this project? Are you still going to see him? Tell us below.
