Punk had a high mountain to climb to win this major event since he was in the losers category. It did not really help that Tokido's ability to install in a detangling demon is among the best in the world.

The tournament ended up falling on the very last lap. In the end, Tokido was able to win thanks to a Critical Art chip.

Punk kept throwing against Fuudo. Finally, Fuudo dropped his guard and found himself trapped.

Smug eventually eliminated Fujimura and eliminated him from the tournament.

Punk was able to make up for the time that ends on Rashid's EX Whirlwind Shot with critical art.

Fuudo had a sick anti-aircraft combo on Tokido, but Tokido was still able to capture the turn and the match.
