Gymnast Simone Biles will not compete in the floor exercises final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This comes after she retired from the final for vault and uneven bars. USA Gymnastics announced that Biles has withdrawn from most recent competition Saturday night, and she will make a decision on Tuesday’s beam final later in the week.

Here is the statement from USA Gymnastics on Biles’ decision to withdraw from the first of three finals of the event.

It all comes after Biles retired from the women’s gymnastics team final last week and followed that up by retiring from the all-around earlier this week. She was replaced by her American gymnastics teammate Jade Carey, who finished eighth.

In the team final, Biles started out by competing in the vault, which has traditionally been his best event. Biles ended up making an attempt in the safe, but rolled an unusual 13.766 after being unable to properly stick his landing.

After her attempt, the 24-year-old left the playing field and later returned to her warm-up outfit. Moments later, it was announced that Biles had withdrawn from the remainder of the team final.

The United States ended up winning a silver medal in the team final after Biles left.

“Physically I feel good, I’m in good shape,” Biles told Hoda Kotb on NBC’s “Today” after his withdrawal on Tuesday. “Emotionally, that stuff varies from time to time and when. Coming to the Olympics and being the star is no easy feat, so we’re just trying to take it one day at a time and we’ll see.”

Although Biles did not compete in the all-around, the Americans still had great success in the event as Suni Lee won the gold medal. Lee put in an outstanding performance with a score of 15.300 on uneven bars, the highest score of any gymnast in the all-around final. It was also the fifth consecutive Summer Olympics in which an American gymnast won the gold medal in the women’s individual all-around.
