Tom Brady appears to avoid Jared Goff for post-game handshake after Buccaneers lose to Rams

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 27 to 24 on Monday night as their prime-time bouts continued. Brady’s play was particularly concerning, as he completed 26 of 48 passes for just 216 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His second turnover with 1:56 left in the fourth quarter ended things well for Jared Goff and Co., but Brady didn’t seem interested in staying to congratulate his opponents.

Brady’s post-game handshakes have become quite the topic this season, as he always seems to greet the opposing quarterback after a win, but will apparently only do so after a loss if he considers the opposing signal caller is a close friend like Drew Brees. On Monday night, we saw Brady again appear to snub a young quarterback who had beaten him.

Does that awkward look of a victorious quarterback after the final whistle sound familiar to you?

Some are starting to notice this trend and say we have to call Brady for it. Hall of Fame, Shannon Sharpe, even taken to twitter after the game and insulted Brady’s attitude.

“I guess Brady doesn’t know Goff well enough to shake his hand after losing. Yet he knows every QB after he wins,” Sharpe tweeted. “Brady is full of what the elephant left on the field. His attitude is bulljive and it’s time to call his A ** on it.”

When Brady snubbed Nick Foles earlier this year, the future Professional Football Hall of Fame claimed it just wasn’t something on his mind.

“I didn’t even think about it,” Brady said, via Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds. “I think Nick Foles is a hell of a player and a Super Bowl champion and I don’t know why I wouldn’t do that. Sometimes I got off the pitch, sometimes I didn’t. Sometimes if I have a personal relationship like that that I have with Drew [Brees] and Justin [Herbert] and Aaron [Rodgers] over the years… I don’t know. I don’t think it’s anything special but I have a great admiration for Nick and I think he’s a hell of a player. They got off to a great start. “

Chances are, Brady will again be asked why he decided to snub the winning quarterback after a loss. We have to wonder what his reasoning will be this time.
