Tom Brady casts serious shadow on ESPN

Maybe Tom Brady has a future in sports media, but maybe not with ESPN.

The Buccaneers quarterback did not appear happy with the network’s “SportsCenter” Twitter account after he quoted him talking about rookie quarterbacks on his “Let’s Go” podcast – unrelated to the show.

“Apparently the time to include the link to the show is over …” Brady replied with a Tweet quote and a link to the podcast.

Coincidentally, Brady’s last tweet before the applause included a trailer for “Man in the Arena,” a show about Brady that happens to air on ESPN + this fall. There was no link in that tweet from Brady.

While the “SportsCenter” account may have missed the link from Brady’s podcast, Adam Schefter, an NFL insider from ESPN, made sure to change the issue by sharing a link from the show.

On the pitch, Brady and the Buccaneers face the Falcons in Week Two. It remains to be seen if he addresses Wednesday’s tweet in his next episode.
